Saqqara

 ‏The project to restore the southern tomb of King Djoser in Saqqara was inaugurated, after the completion of the restoration work, which began in 2006.

 ‏

 The southern tomb of King Djoser is located in the southern corner of his funerary complex in the Saqqara antiquities area. A stone staircase leads to a door carved in the rock as well, then the entrance corridor has a stone staircase that leads in turn to the cemetery’s door, which leads to the internal corridors leading to the level of the cemetery’s voids and the container for murals decorated with blue faience.

 




Karnak

 ‏ Greetings, thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian archaeologists restorers and workers who are in charge of restoring the great columns in Karnak Temple and showing their original colors for the first time... And the restoration works of the rams’ road and the re-installation of parts of the Sphinx statues in their places.

 ‏The discovery of the "Road of Rams" began for the first time in 1949, then excavations continued and it was discovered over the successive decades with purely Egyptian hands, and the length of the road is about 2.7 km, and extends from Karnak in the north, passing through the Temple of Mutt, and ending with Luxor Temple in the south, and it consists of a walkway It is made of sandstone, surrounded by statues of sphinxes on both sides, with other architectural elements dating back to different eras.
